Our Process

 TOPO Organic Spirits is proud to be the first organic distillery in the south. Each spirit begins with organic red winter wheat. That wheat is then distilled and becomes the unique base for all of our spirits. Once distilled each spirit is uniquely combined with fresh ingredients that creates our delicious Vodka, Gin and Whiskey.

 TOPO goes beyond other distilleries to not only deliver local ingredients but remain fully locally and organically sourced. We believe this difference is vital to our spirits and serves both our local community and economy. 

Influencing Local Agriculture & Reducing Carbon Footprint

  TOPO Piedmont Gin has a special story. Our gin was close to not being one of our Organic Spirits due to the lack of locally sourced organic juneberries, an essential ingredient in gin. However through our search we encouraged local farmers to transition to organic farming and thus allowed TOPO Piedmont Gin. 

Here at TOPO we also value reducing our carbon footprint. Through all aspects of the distillery we evaluate how we can reduce and reuse. Our spirits are processed with a closed-loop system which reduces water usage by 70%. Once processed and hand bottled, each spirit is then packaged in 100% recycled packaging.
